How RiverBend is Staying Safe During Covid 19
Wow! 2020 has been quite a year for all of us! The Covid-19 pandemic has brought the whole world to its knees, so extra precautions are in order at RiverBend Motorcoach Resort.
The residents at RiverBend have experienced the many curve balls that life throws and have learned the art of making lemonade from lemons. We realize that each day is a gift; that’s why it’s called the present. We know we must play it safe to protect ourselves from a potentially deadly virus, but we will not let fear paralyze us either. Life is too short to live it in fear. Who knows what tomorrow may bring so we must seize the day while we can, even amid a pandemic.
We are following all State Guidelines
For everyone’s protection, RiverBend is following the State Guidelines for Covid -19 in all the common areas. Our diligent staff members will also give a friendly reminder to enforce Covid guidelines. Those State Guidelines include:
- Social distancing – remain 6 feet away from others
- Reduce person to person interactions for appointments and reservations
- Wear a mask to reduce the droplets that spread the virus
- Diligent hand washing
- Vigilant cleaning and disinfecting of all frequently touched surfaces
The common indoor areas of the River Clubhouse, Benders Bar, Creation Clubhouse and Pool Clubhouse are constantly being cleaned and disinfected after each use, so you can have confidence that we take your safety seriously. Even so, you can choose to spend your time outside in the open air.
Spend time outdoors!
Spend time outdoors, reap the health benefits of sunshine, and kick the Covid blues to the curb. At RiverBend, there’s a lot to do outside, so you will not be bored. Grab your main squeeze and go for a bike ride, maybe play some pickleball or shuffleboard. You and your best bud may like to go for a swim, play bocce ball or go fishing in one of the four lakes or on the Caloosahatchee River. Watch the large variety of boats traveling from coast to coast on Florida’s Intercoastal Waterway. Take a golf cart spin through the moss covered live oak grove down by the river to watch the beautiful sunset.. Maybe you would enjoy a stroll around our beautiful resort with your four-legged furry friend.
There is so much to do at RiverBend outside and while you’re enjoying the great outdoors you will be living a stronger life. Your stress will be reduced, you will be maintaining stronger bones, lowering blood pressure, and fighting off depression while having fun and strengthening relationships with others.
Large, Private RV Lots
Enjoy the large, private RV Lots at RiverBend in your own area to protect yourself from Covid19 and still be a part of a vibrant community. Invite a few friends over for a cookout followed by time visiting by the fire pit. Finish up the evening with a game night or a movie. Pull out a deck of cards and watch your easy-going friends morph into cutthroat card sharks. Share your tall fish stories while you shuffle the cards.
