You can fill your days with all the RiverBend activities you choose or spend it relaxing. There are several activities you will discover that you just don’t want to miss!

All of these events take place at our stunning River Clubhouse and “Benders”, our RiverBend Bar.  The River Clubhouse is nestled in a grove of moss-covered live oaks with a natural landscape that overlooks the beautiful Caloosahatchee River.

Saturday morning: breakfast served at the River Clubhouse by the “Breakfast Crew”
Saturday evening: special events/entertainment TBA

Most weekends during season we host a special Saturday evening of entertainment.  Make sure you sign up early for these as they have become quite popular and space can fill up quickly.

Sunday morning: Non denominational church services
Special Guest performers
Sunday evening: Lecture Series hosted by Creations Clubhouse

In season, we have a week of activities and games for our residents to participate in for some friendly competition. It starts with a colorful parade around the Resort with golf carts following our torch bearers. The games include golf, corn hole, pickleball, billiards, ping pong, water volleyball, shuffleboard, bocce ball, and many more.  At the end of the week, we have a ceremony much like the “Olympics” complete with medals and a three-tiered podium for gold, silver and bronze winners.

Anywhere from 100-150 classic cars trek out to RiverBend to show off their vehicles.  Many of the RB residents and others enjoy getting to see these cars close up. Classic car enthusiasts admire the well maintained and meticulous attention to detail that was used in restoring these classics!  Public welcome.

The weekend activities include Breakfast with the Breakfast Crew both mornings, Cattlemen’s Steak Dinner, Live Performers and Dancing for RiverBend residents and RV dealers.

This End-of-the-Season Celebration is held on a Saturday afternoon and often extends long into the evening hours.  A committee of RiverBend residents plans numerous activities for this event including live and silent auctions, plenty of food and drink and special live entertainment and dancing.

The Cattlemen’s Dinner is one of the most popular dinners at RiverBend.  The Hendry County Cattlemen’s Association serves a large grilled-to-order steak to a huge crowd of 300+ in less than 20 minutes!  County 4Her’s serve all the delicious sides. Many “doggie bags” are requested for a second meal for another day.  Following dinner, live entertainment provides music for enjoying dancing and good times working off some calories with friends.

This is one of the highlights of each year!  Don’t miss it!
