Annual Motorcoach Show

The first weekend in March of each year is the most event-packed weekend of the season at RiverBend. That's when RiverBend holds a Class A Motorcoach Show. The preparations begin early in the week as the staff and residents all pitch in to set up the area around the River Clubhouse. The new coaches begin to roll in around mid-week and on Friday the folks in the resort get a preview of the interiors. The admission free event is a popular one with the public as well, and the weekend is packed with visitors enjoying all that the show has to offer. The second Cattlemen's Dinner and Dance is held at the River Clubhouse on Saturday evening of this weekend.

Here's an excerpt from RV.NET Blog by Peter Mercer on May 13, 2010:

"I have attended several [RV shows] in South Florida over the past few years and have thoroughly enjoyed each and every one. The personal attention and the caliber of the sales people that are assigned to these events far exceed the conventional RV show offering. By far the most elaborate show that I attended this year was at RiverBend in LaBelle Florida. It had the same glittering coach line up as the others, middle to high end products all the way up to over two million dollars. But, there was free shuttle from the parking lot, live music, hoe down, full bar, restaurant, beer tent, hot dog stand, craft show, vendors booths, the largest "G” scale operating train set in a Florida RV park and even free hot air balloon rides in the ReMax Airship. All of this was topped off with a gala sold out dinner prepared by the Hendry County Cattleman’s Association with live entertainment and dancing. Needless to say, this two day event was worth attending."
