RiverBend is located just inside the Hendry County line. As RiverBend   owners & visitors have come to know, Hendry County is a small slice of pastoral heaven.  When you travel the five miles east to LaBelle you will pass citrus orchards on both sides of route 80. RiverBend Boaters  The Caloosahatchee River provides recreational opportunity for avid boaters as well as a water highway from the Gulf of Mexico to Lake Okeechobee and the Atlantic Ocean. 

  • Clewiston is “America‟s Sweetest Town”; where thousands of acres of sugar cane fields line the horizon. Located on the southwestern shore of Lake Okeechobee, it is also famous for good fishing and wildlife. Sugarland Tours, Airboat Tours, and Skydiving are also offered by Clewiston area businesses. The annual SUGAR FESTIVAL occurs in mid-April.

  • The oak-canopied river town of LaBelle has a combination of lovely old restored homes, with rustic but stately versions of their glory days. There are many opportunities for dining out and shopping for all your necessities without the traffic and crowds of the city. RiverBend enjoys great EMS and fire department services dispatched from LaBelle.  The annual SWAMP CABBAGE FESTIVAL is held at the end of February.

  • In Southern Hendry County, you‟ll find the Big Cypress Seminole Reservation. It‟s the largest Native American reservation in Florida and home to the largest concentration of Seminoles – the tribe that never signed a peace treaty with the USA.   At Big Cypress, you‟ll find plenty to do and you‟ll learn of the history, heritage and culture of this great tribe.

  • A short ride away in Immokalee the Seminole Casino is a prime destination for gaming, entertainment and dining.
